Life is a Wild and Sacred Journey!

Kierkegaard wrote: “Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.”

Sartre wrote: “Life is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be lived.”

My take, at least for today, “Life is not a problem to be solved but a wild and sacred journey to be embraced.”

This is not a journey to...
It is a journey of...
Not a journey to a future destination.
A journey of becoming who you really are.

This is your soul’s journey.
You do not need to pursue spiritual development.
Your soul is already fully alive. It is continually beckoning to you through your joys and desires as well as through your challenges.

Your soul says, “Wake up! Let’s play! This day is another gift, another way to become more of who you really are!”

Your soul sweetly reminds you, “You are enough, Dear One. And there is always more of you eager to emerge.”

Embrace your life as a sacred journey and everything you experience and encounter becomes an ally or a gift or a worthy adversary to help you become more fully who you came here to be.

This is not always a safe journey.

To be alive and growing into your fullness requires that at times you will feel intensely uncomfortable.

You will have days when the journey is smooth and peaceful as you meander gently through serene pastures and forests;

You will have days of traveling through mighty challenges, deep canyons and terrifying rapids and waterfalls.

At times you will curl up in a tight ball and hide your head, simply hoping you do not crash.

At times you will stand exultantly with arms outstretched and gleefully welcome the unknown.

All of it is good.

All of it invites you to become, ever more fully, who you really are.

What are the soul invitations in your life today?
Who are allies you may have overlooked?
Where are the challenging situations or people who may actually be your worthy adversaries, helping you discover your inner powers?

I'd love to hear from you!
